- When is the market open?
- The market is open year round on Saturdays from 9am-1pm.
- Where are you located?
- We are located at 840 Upper Front Street, Binghamton, NY, 13905. We are located on the grounds of Cornell Cooperative Extension of Broome County, behind the main office building. We are located next door to the Applebee’s on Upper Front St.
- Does the market and do vendors accept EBT/SNAP for payments?
- Yes! We accept SNAP and participate in the FreshConnects program. Visit the market info booth to swipe your EBT card for market tokens to be used for purchases.
- Can I use my credit card at the market?
- All vendors accept cash, and many accept credit cards as well! However, it is always wise to bring some cash when you are visiting a Farmers Market.
- Do you have an ATM on site?
- Currently, we do not have an ATM. There are several nearby gas stations and banks that do have ATMs.
- What items are for sale at the market?
- There is a wide variety of products for sale at the market, including fruit, vegetables, meat, dairy, eggs, honey, bread, baked goods, jams & jelly, maple, coffee, potted plants, cut flowers, herbs, spices, bath & body products, home supplies and more! Stop down and check it out for yourself; there is something for everyone!
- Is the market handicap accessible?
- Yes - the market is located in a covered building with cement floors that make it easy for people with wheelchairs, crutches, etc. The market parking lot is also paved with handicap spots for ease of access on the ends. If you have questions about handicap access or need further accommodations, please feel free to contact the market manager before or during your visit.
- Are pets allowed at the market?
- No - unfortunately, pets are not permitted in the market based on local county health code regulations. Best to leave the four-legged friends at home. *Please note that service animals are welcome*
- How can I become a vendor?
- Please fill out our vendor application for consideration. Our market manager will review your request and follow up directly. Direct sales businesses do not fit market product guidelines. Fundraising is also not a permitted activity. Please visit our Vendor Information page for additional details.
- Help! I lost something at the market! What do I do?
- No worries! Our market manager collects items that are found at the market and puts them in a lost and found. Please email our Market Manager, Amanda Poodiack at amp374@cornell.edu or call (607)584-5019 to inquire about a lost item.
- Can a person or community group rent out the market building for a wedding or another event?
